A well thought-out construction, where each element optimizes performance both uphill and downhill. A directional shape but not "extreme" either: a wide nose to float in even the deepest powder, a narrow tail for maneuverability in curves and possibly the piste or hard snow . A width generous enough to not have any problems with your boots whatever the angle and turns. The 169 Wide is designed for strong riders and larger feet .
