The main advantage of a mixed entry binding is that it will give you the choice between putting on from the rear by simply tilting the rear spoiler or putting on the traditional way with the straps. Example: It is preferable or quicker to put on from the rear on the slopes but often necessary to put on the traditional way in powder snow.
