The Norwegian brand Fjell™ offers us here a Freestyle backcountry Directional Splitboard created by pro snowboarder Andreas Wiig. A large nose, a "tapered" shape with a narrower tail and a "hybrid rocker camber" make this model a stable splitboard that floats in powder and will respond effectively during turns. The poplar wood core makes the board light but stable even at high speed. The sintered base is fast and robust whatever the terrain and snow. The Nano Biax topcoat gives the board pop and prevents snow from clinging to the top of the board. The poplar wood is nice and easy to climb. The edges are made from recycled steel.
